Welcome to Mama Nors Kitchen, a family-owned Filipino restaurant in Winnipeg's North End. At 642 Leila Avenue, Mama Nor cooks home-style Filipino food: silog breakfasts, rice meals, pork BBQ, menudo, bicol express, lechon kawali, bangus and more, served in generous portions with friendly service. Mama Nors Kitchen is owned and run by Noralyn “Mama Nor” Pua and her husband, David. It began in 2015 with Mama Nor's homemade atsara for a fundraiser at Truth Tabernacle Church, which grew into a catering business and, on April 1, 2016, our restaurant on Leila Avenue. Mama Nor, originally from Cavite in the Philippines, is still our principal cook, preparing traditional Filipino comfort food such as adobo, menudo, dinuguan, bicol express, bopis, lechon kawali, bangus and tilapia.
We open at 6:00 AM Monday to Saturday, so it is easy to stop in for a Filipino breakfast of Tapsilog, Tocilog or Longsilog before work. Families from West Kildonan, Garden City, Seven Oaks, Riverbend and across Winnipeg come back for authentic flavours, great value and home-cooked food made for sharing.

Mama Nors Kitchen is located at 642 Leila Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2V 3N7, in Winnipeg's North End. We are a short drive from West Kildonan, Garden City, Seven Oaks, Riverbend and the Leila-McPhillips area.
We are open Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
